All About Theatre is a locally owned, community theatre company serving Santa Cruz County. We aim
to provide quality theatre for people of all ages in Santa Cruz County. Our goal is to enrich,
educate, inspire, and empower people of every socio-economic background by working as a team to

Lindsey Chester - Executive & Artistic Director/Instructor
A well-known local actress and director, has appeared in many productions ranging for straight drama, to musicals,
and even film. Among Lindsey's past directing projects have been Wizard of Oz (2015), Aristocats Jr. (2015), Cinderella Jr. (2014), Thoroughly Modern Millie (2015),
Disney's Cinderella KIDS (2014), HONK Jr. (2014), Annie Jr. (2014), Shrek the Musical (2014), Disney's Mulan Jr. (2014), Beauty and the Beast Jr (2013), Disney's Jungle Book KIDS (2013),
A Year with Frog & Toad (2013), Once on this Island Jr. (2011), Annie Jr. (2011), HONK the Musical (2011), Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS (2011), FAME the Musical (2010),
Seussical the Musical(2010), Beauty and the Beast (2010), CATS (2009), Once Upon A Mattress (2008), Peter Pan (2008), Anything Goes (2008),
Disney's Cinderella (2007), Disney's 101 Dalmatians (2007), West Side Story (2007), Urinetown (2007) and Seussical the Musical (2006).
Lindsey has been acting since the age of 6, starting with a small part in Oliver Twist. Her theatre experience Since then includes; Damn Yankees (Lola), West Side Story (Maria) and A Midsummer Night's Dream
(Helena). Recently, she has diversified her career with roles in Into the Woods (Witch), Fiddler on the Roof (Chava), Tom Foolery (Lindsey) and Hair (Sheila).
Lindsey has been working for the past 17 years with children ages 3 through 19, here in Santa Cruz County. She is
also an avid performer and has been seen on the Cabrillo Stage in Mary Poppins as Ms. Andrew, Kiss Me Kate; as a Bianca Girl, as General
Mathilda Cartwright; in Guys and Dolls and as a Pick-A-Little Lady in The Music Man. She is also known in the education
circuits as a tutor of science, mathematics and French. She has privately tutored children from Aptos to Boulder Creek
and has taught a homeschool group in Ben Lomond. She finds time to give private voice lessons to about a dozen students
and in her free time enjoys seeing her husband and daughter.
Emily Mairi Marsilia - Musical Director/Choreographer/Instructor
Emily Mairi Marsilia holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Theatre from Westminster College of the Arts of Rider University.
Studying and working professionally in the musical theatre world for many years now, she recently finished working as a
performer for Disney Cruise Line (Disney Dream) in their three main stage productions; The Golden Mickeys, Believe, and
Villains Tonight! Emily has studied extensively with Broadway professionals including Nikki Snelson, Ben Vereen, Judy Kuhn,
and leading casting directors and companies such as Telsey and Company and Clemmons/Dewing Casting. In addition to working with All
About Theatre in the past as choreographer and instructor, she has worked as a private voice instructor and music director with local
high school students. Emily returning to Cabrillo Stage this past summer (2013) as the principle female role of Laurey in their production of Oklahoma!
Brie Buxton - Director/Choreographer/Instructor
Brie is a local Santa Cruz performer. She has appeared in eleven Cabrillo Stage productions including Oliver!, Oklahoma!,
Anything Goes, both productions of Scrooge The Musical, Cabaret, The Wizard of Oz, Jesus Christ Superstar, Little Shop of Horrors,
West Side Story, and The Sound of Music. She is a graduate of UCSC with a Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts and a resident director/
choreographer/instructor for All About Theatre. AAT credits include, Sweeney Todd, Fame Jr., Urinetown, Rent, Les Miserables, Legally
Blonde,You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Once On This Island, as well as ongoing summer camps and private lessons. She is currently
studying for her Masters Degree at UCSC. Many thanks to her husband & family for their continual love and support.
Brad Roades - Director/Instructor
Brad has a Master's Degree in Playwriting from Brandeis University with Marty Halpern and Edward Albee in
addition to studying Directing with David Wheeler and Michael Murray as well as working in set design and
construction with Karl Eigsti and Bob Moody. He taught theatre at the Community College of Rhode Island, Cambridge
School of Weston and Wasson High School in Colorado Springs, CO. In addition he has directed shows at Soquel
High School locally. His plays have been produced by Brandeis, Playwright' Platform in Boston and off off (many offs)
Broadway in New York. Notable among his plays produced were "Blue Christmas" and "Papa Hoedown" at Playwrights
Platform in Boston, "Blue Christmas" and "The Black Marble Keeps Rolling" at Brandeis. Notable productions as a
director include "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" in Rhode Island, "Merrily We Roll Along" in Weston, MA and his
adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's "Jungle Book for speaking and deaf actors at Cambridge School of Weston.
Currently he is the Western Regional Sales Director for ProQuest. He is devoted to the theatre as an educational
tool for development of the "whole" person. He is thrilled to be working with the young performers and staff in All About Theatre.
Brad couldn't do any of this without the encouragement and support of his beautiful wife Theresa and their three kids.
Mazera Cox - Musical Director/Accompanist
Mazera has musically directing several shows and has been accompanying musical theatre productions in the
Santa County area for many years now. She has played for Cabrillo as well as UCSC and a renowned player at
several local churches. Her enthusiasm for working with musical theatre shines through, along with her generous
nature whilst working with children. All About Theatre is honored to have Mazera as their permanent accompanist.
Angelic Navarro - Director/Choreographer/Instructor
Angelic Navarro has over 30 years of multi-dance training in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Polynesian, Hawaiian, Cheerleading, Contemporary/Modern, and
Hip Hop and over 7 years of Theater experience. She was Head cheerleader for the Award winning Monte Vista Christian High School Varsity Squad, a
recipient of the Dance Achievement award from Cabrillo College, and a recipient of the Young Artists Tuition Scholarship award for the American
Dance Festival at Duke University. She has worked closely with David Bonetto (owner and director of Dance Works Unlimited, and Dance Instructor
for Fresno City College), Sean Curran (owner and director of the Sean Curran Company and former member of STOMP in New York City), and Joy Smith
(owner and director of Santa Cruz Dance Company and International Dance and Fitness Presenter and Zumba Education Specialist). Angelic currently
teaches dance at Soquel Foursquare Church on Mondays to students ages 3 up to Adults during the Fall, Winter, and Spring. These classes are open
to the public. Angelic is also the dance and theater teacher at Spring Hill School K-8th Advanced Education where 2 of her 3 children attends.
She has written, and directed over a dozen original musical productions with students from age 5 - 14 for the Spring Hill School Community.
She ecstatically joined the AAT team this past Summer (2013) to choreograph for Seussical the Musical TYA and Disney's Jungle Book Jr.
She most recently co-directed and choreographed Beauty and the Beast Jr. and The Drowsy Chaperone and
looks forward to many more AAT productions!
